Technical Services Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Performs compliance-based customer project functions such as device imaging and configuration for deployment of IT equipment – enterprise or endpoint
  • Configures Windows based systems to customer specifications
  • Adopts the use of new software deployment tools
  • Adopts the use of quality-oriented processes to ensure all work is completed accurately and documented
  • Develop and document work instructions for customer projects
  • Participates in learning new technologies and career development opportunities as presented
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in IT Technology, including training for certifications and manufacturer partnerships
  • Additional duties and/or projects as required

Experience:

  • 2 or more years of experience as a computer specialist
  • Oral and Written Communication – Provides clear, concise, and organized communications.
  • Customer Service – Anticipates and meets needs of customers. Delivers high quality products and services.
  • Technical Credibility – Understands and appropriately applies principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, polices and computer knowledge.

  • Teamwork – Fosters teamwork and is supportive of other team members and achieving team goals.
  • Comptia A+ a plus
  • Comptia Network+ a plus
  • Microsoft MCP: Configuring Windows 7 (70-680) a plus
  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems, computer science or equivalent experience a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
