Responsibilities:
- Operational support (Tier 3) of: server (virtual & physical), network (router, switch, firewall, load balancer), desktop, storage, backup, and Active Directory
- Participate and facilitate outage resolution and develop root cause analysis
- Researching, piloting, integrating, and implementing new technologies
- Providing leadership across all teams within department
- Other IT related duties & projects as assigned
- Occasional travel may be required to some enterprise sites.

- Self-motivated and directed – independent worker; effectively prioritize and multi-task
- Good data analysis and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven experience in developing & building relationships with non-IT and IT customers

- Ability to provide on-call support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week
Experience:
- 5 + years of Systems Engineering Experience
- Strong experience in virtual server environments, enterprise storage, networking, firewalls, enterprise email and instant messaging solutions, application database solutions, or Microsoft directory services.
- Infrastructure Background: Nutanix Hyper Converged, Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server Database, Active Directory, 0365, Azure, SAN/storage platforms, Rubrik & Veeam.
- Networking Background: switches, routers, firewall engines, telephony, and VPN infrastructure across the Enterprise at multiple sites
- Shell scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework in computer science or a related field
- Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience
