Instructional Trainer

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and deliver customized training programs for healthcare professionals (radiologists, technicians, and clinical staff) on Visage’s imaging system
  • Provide in-person and virtual training sessions tailored to the learning needs of different user groups
  • Develop training materials, manuals, and online resources that facilitate self-paced learning and reference
  • Support the transition from legacy PACS systems to Visage, ensuring smooth migration with minimal disruption to healthcare services
  • Provide hands-on, practical demonstrations of Visage’s imaging functionalities and workflows
  • Assist users with system navigation, troubleshooting, and operational queries, ensuring they are fully proficient with the new system
  • Work closely with clinical and IT teams to assess training needs and tailor educational content
  • Collaborate with system administrators and technical teams to ensure training programs align with system updates and configurations
  • Monitor learner progress, gather feedback, and adjust training strategies to address any gaps or challenges in the learning process
  • Track post-training user adoption rates, address any performance issues, and provide ongoing support as required
  • Maintain comprehensive records of training activities, attendance, and progress
  • Prepare reports for management on the effectiveness of training programs & areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the Visage software vendor and internal teams to stay updated on new features, functionalities, and best practices
  • Stay informed about trends and innovations in healthcare imaging technology to continuously improve training methods and materials

Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in training healthcare professionals on PACS systems (such as McKesson, Client Healthcare, Agfa, Philips, or Siemens).
  • Previous experience with Visage Imaging or similar advanced imaging systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience with both classroom-based and virtual training platforms is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical imaging technologies, specifically PACS and DICOM standards.
  • Familiarity with Visage 7 or similar advanced imaging solutions, including functionalities such as image viewing, processing, and workflow integration.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical details
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience in healthcare IT training
